Secret Hacking codes for Android Mobile Phones

1. Complete Information About your Phone

*#*#4636#*#*
This code can be used to get some interesting information about your phone and battery. It shows following 4 menus on screen:
  • Phone information
  • Battery information
  • Battery history
  • Usage statistics

2. Factory data reset
*#*#7780#*#*
This code can be used for a factory data reset. It'll remove following things:
  • Google account settings stored in your phone
  • System and application data and settings
  • Downloaded applications
It'll NOT remove:
  • Current system software and bundled application
  • SD card files e.g. photos, music files, etc.
Note: Once you give this code, you get a prompt screen asking you to click on "Reset phone" button. So you get a chance to cancel your operation.

3. Format Android Phone

*2767*3855#
Think before you give this code. This code is used for factory format. It'll remove all files and settings including the internal memory storage. It'll also reinstall the phone firmware.
Note: Once you give this code, there is no way to cancel the operation unless you remove the battery from the phone. So think twice before giving this code.

4. Phone Camera Update

*#*#34971539#*#*
This code is used to get information about phone camera. It shows following 4 menus:
  • Update camera firmware in image (Don't try this option)
  • Update camera firmware in SD card
  • Get camera firmware version
  • Get firmware update count
WARNING: Never use the first option otherwise your phone camera will stop working and you'll need to take your phone to service center to reinstall camera firmware.

5. End Call/Power

*#*#7594#*#*
This one is my favorite one. This code can be used to change the "End Call / Power" button action in your phone. Be default, if you long press the button, it shows a screen asking you to select any option from Silent mode, AirPlane mode and Power off.
You can change this action using this code. You can enable direct power off on this button so you don't need to waste your time in selecting the option.

6. File Copy for Creating Backup

*#*#273283*255*663282*#*#*
This code opens a File copy screen where you can backup your media files e.g. Images, Sound, Video and Voice memo.

7. Service Mode
*#*#197328640#*#*
This code can be used to enter into Service mode. You can run various tests and change settings in the service mode.

8. WLAN, GPS and Bluetooth Test Codes:

  1. I got a new Android OS 2.2 Kernel 2.6.32 V1.5.0 it doesn't boot, shows android logo only. Please help me.
    Thank you very much!!
I have the exact same problem. Seems I've put in every possible pattern known to man hoping it was the one I set in it but no luck. Someone sent the following information which I followed to a "T", but there was no effect on my tablet... still locked. If anyone can help me I'd appreciate it. Thanks a million!

Step 1: Download and save the the firmware from
    the link below.

    https://docs.google.com/leaf?
    id=0BxfBU2pL3otBZDFlZjk3ZWYtNDBkNS00MjY3LWJkODAtMD
    diYzA0ZTc3NWFh&hl=en&authkey=CI-u49cJ

Step 2: After you download and save the file
    (7inch epad 2.0 Version.rar) use an unzipping
program like WinZip or WinRar to Unzip and open
    the compressed file.

Step 3: After you open the file you will see a
folder named "script" copy the "script" folder to
a Micro SD card. But make sure that nothing else
is on the micro SD card.

Step 4: Pick up your tablet but make sure that the
    tablet is completely shut-off.

Step 5: Insert the Micro SD Card into the tablet

Step 6: Power on the tablet and your tablet should
recognize the firmware on the micro sd card and it
    should boot it automatically.

Step 7: After the tablet is done installing the
firmware, there will be a message that will prompt
you to take the Micro SD Card, at that point take
out the micro sd card and then hit the menu button
on the tablet and then the tablet should boot up
    automatically.

    Step 8: Your done!

    Thanks for the instructions..
I've followed it, but mine gives the following :
    "Prepare update files...
    Update filesystem Start.....

    Erase File-System partition.....

--> Erase File-System partition Fail! Exit!
Maybe the kernel don't support this NAND Flash"

It's been showing this screen for 90min, with the loading bar on the bottom.
Two questions: How long is this supposed to take, and is that error a problem? If yes, what do I do?

    Thanks

    restoring apad

I have the same unit. I understand that you have to use 1.6.xx as this version cannot be upgraded to 2.xx rom. I'm searching for it all over. If you happen to find a 1.6 version please let me know. bedchef@att.net

    Thanks

The link posted above to a google docs page is no longer valid; however, it sounded like it didn't work anyway.

    Go to:

    Panimage - Downloads

All the necessary information is also posted on there, as well as a downloadable .pdf document of the instructions. I was having the same problem as the OP and this worked for me to solve the problem, but your actual mileage may vary, good luck

    Slipknotts fix works

errormessage:--> Erase File-System partition Fail! Exit!Maybe the kernel don`t support this NAND Flash

I have gotten the previous error message with at least ten different firmware flashes for my device. I saw this thread and decided this was the last one I would try before I finally gave up.

slipknotts fix with this website -> Panimage - Downloads
was the only thing that worked for my device

    Eken M002(I think)

    Good luck!
